My first day as a senior

my first day went pretty well i suppose it was nice not having to make my own lunch lol
im just ready to start my life in college i guess
i really want to become an art teacher one day so i need to do my best at being less shy….
my two goals this year is to escape being on the gym floor during the senior pep rally and graduate with good grades
its the 4th day of school and im already counting down the days till summer again

Should my loser kid still get a trophy?

I’m a loser, now give me my trophy!Some kids get participation trophies just for showing up and some kids actually work for their trophy.Although,it may hurt your child’s feelings not all kids should get a trophy because if all kids get a trophy then the kids that worked hard won’t feel like their trophy is worth something.
How do you teach your children to be good winners and good losers if they don’t win and lose?How will they handle life?;Such as not getting the job or not getting into that expensive college.Kids are not motivated to do their best if they know that they are always going to “win”.If a kid can win for nothing,then they are trained at a young age to not try and not trying won’t work in the real world.
Trophies were once rare things,sterling silver cups bought from jewelry stores for truly special occasions.Today,participation trophies and prizes are almost a given as children are constantly assured that they are winners.Winning a trophy is a big deal most of the time but does it mean the same thing if everybody gets one?

I chase and chase for hours and hours. But I never seem to catch you

Magic

Nobody ever told me

that magic isnt  real

I’ve believed since i was 3

and now

show and tell’s here

and they said i acted like a 2 year old

all because i showed them my magic pencil

Sally said i was a liar

christan said i was a silly moo

The teacher wanted me to prove to her that it was true,

so what could i do,

i erased her!!!

The sense I couldn’t live without.

The one sense I couldn’t live without is taste.

Without taste you couldn’t drink a chocolate milkshake

And like it, because you wouldn’t be able to taste it.

Without taste the world would have no flavor.

Fast food  wouldn’t be good anymore. And ice cream

Would just be frozen milk! I really don’t want to think of all

My favorite foods just go to waste. Like I said before ,

Martin Luther King Changes the World!

In the 1900s whites and blacks were separated.

The waiting rooms, buses even schools! After a while

The black people got tired of the whites treating them so poorly. They started making signs and boycotting the buses

Over race issues. Martin Luther king then ends segregation in the 1960s. Years later Martin Luther King gets assassinated.

The 1900s, a decade that changed America forever.
